Angelina Jolie is not "falling for" one of her bodyguards, despite a report that's inaccurate in several ways. Gossip Cop can debunk the false story. It's a complete fabrication.
According to the National Enquirer, the actress has been growing close to a "hunky bodyguard" on the New Mexico set of her upcoming movie, Those Who Wish Me Dead. "Angie melts when she's around this guy and dotes on him like he's her whole world," a supposed source tells the magazine. "They've been inseparable for weeks!"
The alleged insider further contends that Jolie's "handsome new suitor" managed to win her over by being kind to her six kids and showering them with gifts. "For her to consider anyone boyfriend material they have to be great with her kids and cope with her level of fame, plus be devastatingly handsome, of course," adds the questionable tipster.
The suspicious "source" continues, "It would make sense if she's jumped in and started dating this guy, but only time will tell if she confirms either way." From there, the seemingly phony insider says Brad Pitt is sure to be upset about his estranged wife's romance and "won't find it easy seeing his kids bonding with another guy, but Angie has the right to move on, and there's nothing to stop her from dating whoever she wants."
The tabloid's report is flat-out wrong. The so-called "bodyguard" and "mystery stud" pictured in the outlet is actually Oliver Crane, the male nanny who looks after Jolie's kids. He's the son of Simon Crane, a stunt coordinator who's worked with the actress on several films over the years. The man who Jolie was photographed with on set isn't her new "mystery" bodyguard. He's a longtime family friend and her children's caretaker. Gossip Cop can also confirm that there's certainly no romance developing between the two.
In addition to the Enquirer not knowing Crane's identity, the magazine doesn't seem to realize that a few of its sister publications already made up stories about the young man. Last year, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline, Star and Life & Style for falsely claiming Pitt wasn't happy about his kids bonding with the male nanny. That narrative wasn't true either.
Of course, the tabloid is hardly trustworthy when it comes to reporting about the actress. Less than two months ago, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely alleging Jolie was "dying" and leaving her fortune to her oldest son, Maddox. The actress, who's been shooting back-to-back movies while caring for six kids, is in perfectly good health.
Back in March, Gossip Cop called out the publication for wrongly reporting that Jolie was moving to New York with her kids to get away from Pitt. The actress still lives in Los Angeles and is spending the summer in Albuquerque shooting a film. The untrustworthy tabloid is simply clueless about the actress's personal life.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
