A new tabloid report claims Angelina Jolie has adopted more kids in the wake of her divorce from Brad Pitt, but the report is simply incorrect. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.

The actress was spotted last month taking four of her kids and group of other children to the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. Because the other children with her were of Asian descent, the National Enquirer has jumped to the ridiculous conclusion that Jolie must be adopting them. The repeatedly discredited magazine says the actress “plans to grow her family without Brad” and is looking forward to “expanding her brood without him.”

The magazine’s story, however, is silly, inaccurate and borderline offensive. The actress hasn’t adopted the Asian children who were with her on the family outing. Those kids are friends of Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh, and were visiting from Cambodia for her 11th birthday. She met the children during her stay in the country last year while her mom was filming the upcoming drama, First They Killed My Father.

In fact, Gossip Cop busted the Enquirer’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, when it made a similarly false claim last month after Jolie, Shiloh and this same group of friends were spotted celebrating her birthday at Disneyland. The site claimed Jolie was “adopting again” on the simple basis that she was seen with a group of Asian children. Only, there was no further evidence to back up this presumptuous and ridiculous claim.

Of course, this is hardly the first time Gossip Cop has had to call out the Enquirer for publishing a bogus story involving Jolie’s kids. We previously busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Jolie forbids her children from calling Pitt. We also debunked the outlet’s tall tale about Jolie fleeing the country with her kids and moving to London. Those stories were entirely untrue, and this latest one about an alleged adoption is no more accurate.
