Here we go again. Angelina Jolie is NOT “82 pounds and refusing to eat,” despite an outrageous report that once more deems the Oscar winner “anorexic.”

Of course, the story comes from the National Enquirer, which in years past has declared Jolie to be on the verge of “dying,” with pieces announcing her weight as “90 pounds, “93 pounds,” “92 pounds,” and, just last August, “83 pounds.” Clearly, the supermarket tabloid has stooped even lower with its new issue, which came out on Wednesday.

“Jolie’s rail-thin figure is prompting close pals to call for an intervention to save her from death,” writes the magazine. A so-called “concerned insider” is quoted as saying, “She’s refusing to eat! Angie weighs just 82 pounds and looks absolutely anorexic. If something isn’t done soon, she’ll waste away to nothing!”

The outlet body-shames Jolie for her “skeletal frame” earlier this month at the Kung Fu Panda 3 premiere, and cites a nutritionist and two doctors who have NEVER met with the star, let alone treated her. The story goes on to allege that “terrified” husband Brad Pitt, who the gossip rag falsely said she was going to divorce just two weeks ago, is “alarmed” and being “urged” to take “dramatic” action. And on the very same page, the ever-classy National Enquirer has the gall to celebrate “90 years of scandals.”

Over the years, Jolie has been very candid about her health issues. Anorexia is not one of them. And it’s not a label to be thrown around lightly by a magazine that really doesn’t have inside knowledge about the actress’ life and never has.
