Kathy Griffin recently alleged Andy Cohen offered her cocaine before an appearance on his Bravo talk show, “Watch What Happens Live,” but the TV personality strongly denied the claim. Life & Style, however, now says Cohen is worried the comedienne’s accusations will get him fired. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.

Last month, Griffin posted a 17-minute YouTube video (that’s since been deleted) in which she called the Bravo exec “a miserable boss” who treated her “like a dog” during the production of her reality show, “My Life on the D-List.” The comic further alleged that right before a live taping of his talk show, “Andy Cohen privately asked me in an office if I wanted to do blow.” The Bravo host later tweeted in response, “I am completely stunned by this story. It is 100% false and totally made up.”

Life & Style now maintains that Cohen is panicking over the situation. A so-called “source” tells the site, “Kathy saying Andy offered her drugs before she was a guest on his show is reason enough for him to be fired. She’s messing with his livelihood. Andy is a nervous wreck.” The supposed insider goes on to contend Cohen also fears Griffin’s claims will emboldened others to come forward with accusations against him. “Andy’s fully aware that his bosses do not take employee misconduct or allegations lightly.”

Unfortunately for the tabloid, the timing of this phony story is very poor. It was announced Thursday that Cohen has signed a new three-year deal with Bravo to host “Watch What Happens Live” through 2020. The TV personality’s renewed contract with the network also includes a development deal with his production company and his continued involvement in the “Real Housewives” franchise. Regardless, a Bravo spokesperson also tells us the magazine’s story “couldn’t be more off.”
