Amy Schumer GMA Leather Special

Amy Schumer appeared on Monday’s “Good Morning America” to discuss her new Netflix special “The Leather Special.” Watch the “GMA” interview below!

“I’m so proud of the show and it was my last time getting to say those jokes, because when the special airs those jokes are burned,” the comedienne said on the morning show. Schumer discusses gun violence in her stand-up special, explaining, “I don’t shy away from the stuff I usually talk about. People are like, ‘Stop talking about your vagina.’ Am I allowed to say that?”

Schumer went on to note that two people were shot and killed during a screening of her movie Trainwreck in 2015, saying, “It completely broke my heart and I found out the guy who did it was severely mentally ill. I was confused. I didn’t know why he could buy a gun.” She added, “I wanted to close the loopholes so that severely mentally ill people would have more trouble buying guns. I’m gonna use my voice to do what I can. It’s the least I can do.”

The comedienne is also a big fan of “The Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” and even appeared on an episode of the latter show. As a surprise, the “GMA” hosts played Schumer a video from current Bachelor Nick Viall, who expressed his disappointment the two never met. He added, “Who knows what could have happened?” “Gosh! I can’t believe that,” she responded. “Well in two seasons, when I’m the Bachelorette and he’s a contestant…” Watch the full interview below!
