“America’s Got Talent” winner Darci Lynne Farmer says she plans to use some of her $1 million prize money to benefit her church. Watch the video below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Farmer won season 12 of “AGT” on Wednesday night’s finale. Before the big news, she teamed up with season 2 winner Terry Fator and fellow ventriloquist Jeff Dunham to give viewers two last funny performances with her puppets. It was no doubt appreciated, as fans have viewed Farmer’s “America’s Got Talent” videos on YouTube millions of time so far. And now the day after she was crowned the NBC competition’s new winner, Farmer made the media rounds.

“I did not get any sleep last night,” she admitted to “Entertainment Tonight” on Thursday. Reflecting on the moment before host Tyra Banks announced the final results, the 12-year-old said, “I was like so stressed out. It was the longest 30 seconds of my life. I was like, ‘Just spit it out, Ty-Ty!'” Naturally, Farmer was asked how she’ll spend her prize money, and her answer might surprise some people.

She shared, “First things first, I am definitely going to give some money to my church, because they always raise money for different missions and mission programs in different countries. So I’m definitely going to do that. Second, I have to give my mom a dishwasher. Or a fridge along with it, you never know, because we definitely need more household appliances.” Farmer then added, “And a pug. I want a pug really bad.”

Her mother was invited onto the set of the interview, prompting Farmer to ask, “Can I get a pug, mom?” The matriarch wisely and amusingly replied, “I’m not saying yes or no live. I will take the dishwasher.” Farmer also stopped by “Access Hollywood,” where she confessed she only got to practice her finals performance of “With A Little Help From My Friends” for a “couple of days.” She also spoke about runner-up 10-year-old singer Angelica Hale.

“She’s just so tiny and cute and adorable. We’ve become so close. I mean, she was just like crying on my arm when I won and it felt so good that she’s really supportive,” Farmer shared. “It was just really hard to stand up there with her because we’re such good friends and I wanted her to get her happy ending, too.” Going forward, she said, “At this point I’d love my own Vegas show or TV show or be on Broadway. I’d love all of that.” But first, it’s back to school! “I’ve missed three weeks, so I’ll have to catch up,” the new star revealed.

And since the folks at “Access” already knew Farmer has her heart set on getting a dog, they surprised her with a few pugs of the stuffed animal variety. Check out the videos below!
