America's Got Talent Results August 30 2017

The last semifinalists for season 12 of “America’s Got Talent” were revealed on Wednesday. Get the results below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the third and final installment of the 2017 quarterfinals took place on Tuesday night. Over the course of the two-hour broadcast, the remaining 12 quarterfinalist acts each had to perform live for the first time at the Dolby Theater. Just like in the two prior editions, however, only seven of the acts would ultimately get to move on to the semifinals, which begin next week.

A number of contestants received a standing ovation, including Kechi for her performance of “By The Grace Of God,” which closed the show. Shortly before, singer-songwriter Chase Goehring won praise for “Illusion,” an original song. And earlier in the show, 13-year-old Angelina Green beautifully sang “Gravity.” Indeed, there are a lot of singers this season, but then there’s also acts like mentalist Colin Cloud, who received mixed reviews for his latest stunt, which involved Mel B “stabbing” Simon Cowell.

On the live results show, host Tyra Banks began by announcing which acts were in jeopardy after placing sixth, seventh and eighth based on the votes cast after last night’s episode. Revealed in particular order, they were Green, Cloud and the Greater Works choir. Now to make it into the semifinals, they had to win either the Dunkin’ Save or the judges’ save later in the show. Next, Banks unveiled the top five acts that were automatically through to the next round. They were acrobatic dance group Diavolo, Kechi, Goehring, singer Mike Yung and trainer Sara with her dog Hero.

For ranking in places nine through 12, mysterious projection mappers Oskar and Gaspar, singing group Final Draft, dancer Oscar Hernandez and dancing siblings Junior and Emily were eliminated. After that combination of good and bad news, it was revealed that, after the closest vote of the season, Cloud had won redemption through the ballots cast from viewers during the save window. Now for the very last spot in the semifinals, the judges had to decide between Green, who was Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer act, and Greater Works.

Mel B had to vote first, and chose Greater Works. Klum, however, stuck with Green. Then Cowell turned things back in the choir’s favor. Once again, it came down to Howie Mandel. And he gave the deciding vote to Greater Works. Heartbreakingly, that meant Green was out of the competition. Now over the next few weeks, things will only get tougher.

Added to the “AGT” season 12 semifinalists that were named earlier this month, the full list of 21 acts is as follows: a capella group In The Stairwell, comedian Preacher Lawson, singer Angelica Hale, ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, rollerskating siblings Billy and Emily England, singer Christian Guardino, singer Yoli Mayor, visual dance group Light Balance, singer Mandy Harvey, singer Johnny Manuel, singer Celine Tam, dancer Merrick Hanna, singer Evie Clair, magician Eric Jones, dance group Diavolo, singer Kechi, singer-songwriter Goehring, singer Mike Yung, trainer Sara with her dog Hero, mentalist Colin Cloud and gospel choir Greater Works.
