George Clooney and Amal Clooney are not expecting twins again just six months after the birth of their baby boy and girl, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the bogus story.
An article in this week’s OK! claims that the human rights lawyer is pregnant again after she and her husband decided to immediately conceive another child, and they were delighted to learn they’re getting another set of twins. A so-called “source” tells the magazine that Amal has spent the last few months seeing a fertility doctor, “as well as trying herbs, vitamins and acupuncture to increase her chances of getting pregnant again.”
The outlet’s questionable insider adds, “There’s no doubt they can’t believe it’s twins. Going from just the two of them to a family of six in a matter of months – can you imagine a bigger change? George has joked that they’d only need one more to have their own basketball team!” The alleged source further contends that George will be taking a break from show business to raise his brood.
But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for the actor, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s story is simply “not true.” Amal isn’t pregnant with twins again, nor is the couple intent on expanding their family. In fact, the Clooneys even revealed in a recent interview that they’re not planning on having another child. “I’m 39,” Amal said when asked if she wanted more kids. “I already had them quite late.”
Also, OK! has proven to have very little insight into the couple’s relationship. Gossip Cop busted the magazine last year for publishing a cover story wrongly announcing that George and Amal were getting a divorce. We also called out the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Amal and George were expecting a baby a year before she got pregnant. This latest article about the spouses is equally false.
