Did Amal Clooney really ban George Clooney from their bedroom because she’s tired of his constant company following the birth of their twins? That’s the bizarre and illogical claim in one of this week’s new tabloids, but Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we’ve exclusively learned the truth.

An article in the latest issue of Star says the actor has been persistently doting on his wife and twins since the boy and girl, Alexander and Ella, were born in June. But according to the magazine’s questionable report, the human rights attorney is somehow put off by her husband’s devotion to their family. A so-called “source” tells the outlet Amal “secretly hopes” the actor will go back to work soon, adding, “George thinks he’s helping but he’s really just making more work for Amal. Sometimes she jokes it’s like having three kids!”

The publication’s dubious insider continues, “George isn’t coping well with the lack of sleep. So Amal has kindly suggested that he sleep in the guest room so she can get some rest.” Of course, the tabloid’s assertion that Amal would be irritated with George for being a caring father and husband is completely absurd. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a trustworthy source close to the couple, who dismissed the magazine’s report as “ridiculous.” The outlet’s bogus article makes little sense and isn’t remotely factual.

Unfortunately, Star has a habit of publishing phony stories about the Clooneys, so this latest fabrication isn’t too surprising. Shortly before the birth of their twins, Gossip Cop debunked the magazine’s false claim that George and Amal were spending $1 million on the delivery. We also called out the untrustworthy tabloid after it made up a report about George and Amal fighting over his alleged plastic surgery plans. There was no truth to either of those articles, and this latest one is equally fictitious.
