Alyssa Milano reposted many of President Donald Trump’s tweets and compared them to famous quotes from former U.S. presidents. See a gallery of the tweets below.

In a series of tweets labeled “Presidents Day 2017,” the actress juxtaposed some of Trump’s comments against the arguably more articulate words of many past leaders. One of the retweets was written after Nordstrom’s removed Ivanka Trump’s fashion line from its store. “My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom,” Trump wrote. “She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!” Milano responded by posting a quote from Bill Clinton that said, “Let us all take more responsibility, not only for ourselves and our families but for our communities and our country.”

Milano went on to retweet Trump saying, “The judge opens up our country to potential terrorists and others that do not have our best interests at heart. Bad people are very happy!” and then added the Franklin D. Roosevelt quote, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” The actress also cited Trump as tweeting, “Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them,” and then took a John F. Kennedy quote that said, “If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity.”

The actress next retweeted Trump writing, “Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal!” She responded with Ronald Regan famously declaring, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.” Milano went on to contrast Trump’s tweets to quotes from Barack Obama, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Harry S. Truman, Woodrow Wilson and more. As Gossip Cop reported, many other celebrities also tweeted in honor of Presidents’ Day 2017. See Milano’s gallery below.
