Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria never starred on a reality show focusing on their family life, despite a report from a year ago claiming they were planning to do so. Gossip Cop busted the story when it emerged 12 months ago. Time has proven it unequivocally false.

On June 15, 2017, OK! falsely claimed that the actor and fitness guru were developing a series that would give viewers an intimate look at their marriage and raising three young children in New York City. It was said that Baldwin was initially reluctant to the idea, but his wife convinced him that a reality show would help show the public “his softer side” as a loving dad and husband. The unreliable magazine further contended that the spouses were in discussions with various networks, and the supposed project would “get snapped up quickly.”

Gossip Cop busted the story a year ago after a source close to the actor told us on background that he had no plans to star on a reality show with his family. It’s now 365 days later, and a Baldwin family reality show never hit the airwaves, nor is there one in any stage of development.

The actor has kept plenty busy over the past year, but he hasn’t embarked on a career in reality television. Less than two months after Gossip Cop busted the tabloid’s report last June, Baldwin signed a deal with ABC to host Season 3 of “Match Game.” As part of the actor’s contract, he’s also developing content for the network through his production company, El Dorado Pictures. Not one of the projects in development is a reality show.

It’s possible that OK! made up the phony story because the Baldwins frequently document their family life on social media. Earlier this week, for instance, the actor shared a video of his wife kissing their nearly two-year-old son, who was in turn kissing his newborn baby brother. That’s just one recent example of the dozens of photos and videos the couple post of themselves and their children. However, Instagram videos and reality TV are two very different things.

As Gossip Cop has noted, a tabloid’s biggest enemy is usually time as it disproves stories that never came to fruition. That’s the case with this nonexistent Baldwin family TV show. Oddly enough, the actor became heavily involved in TV production shortly following the magazine’s story, but a reality show still isn’t on the docket.
