Adele has NOT been asked to pose nude for Playboy, despite an entirely fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “completely made-up.”

According to the National Enquirer, Hugh Hefner’s team has been calling the singer non-stop with offers to go naked for the men’s magazine. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Adele was super flattered that Playboy thought she fit their sexy bill now that she’s shed 45 pounds, but she’s never believed in women flaunting their bodies.”

The tabloid’s questionable insider goes on to claim that Adele divulged to a friend, “I don’t believe it’s anyone’s business what I look like naked. My body is private!”

Gossip Cop checked in with a Playboy source who assures us that neither the singer nor her people have ever been contacted by the magazine about her posing nude. We’re exclusively told that the tabloid’s story is “completely made-up.”

The falsity of this story isn’t particularly surprising. The Enquirer is the same tabloid Gossip Cop busted for claiming Cher had asked Adele to collaborate on a song, but Adele refused and the iconic singer hates her as a result. However, Gossip Cop was told by Cher’s rep, at the time, that the singer never put forth a request to work with Adele. Playboy hasn’t been calling either.
