Outlet Makes Shameful Choice To Show Ill Zsa Zsa Gabor Pics

There’s often an assumption that with fame comes a lack of privacy.

But in a world where stars’ private residences are exposed, and laws have to be drafted to protect celebs from reckless paparazzi, there’s often a disconnect between “fair game” and “respectful.”

It’s for this reason we winced when we saw one of ETonline.com‘s latest photo galleries.

The site boasts, “ET has obtained exclusive photos of Zsa Zsa Gabor on a gurney being rushed to the hospital after she was found unresponsive on Tuesday.”

And sure enough, there are seven pictures posted – which we’re not linking to – of the ailing 93-year-old actress strapped to a gurney and surrounded by her husband and medical personnel.

This is a woman who lived her entire life promoting a glamorous life, putting much value in appearances and luxury.

She is now, sadly, in poor health, and we can only imagine she would never want these photos out (much less taken in the first place).

And while we have friends at “Entertainment Tonight,” and we think it’s a great show, this was an absolutely wrong decision.

    ET also showed the last pictures of Michael Jackson. I’ve stopped watching them since them. Not that I have any great love for Michael Jackson. The pictures were way out of bounds.

    These people at Et, I am sure have other things to show. How do they expect for the future generation to behave, if they do such a thing? How would they like for their relative or them be exposed like that while near to death? There should be a respect of privacy and laws to protect it. The USA doesn’t paint a good picture to the world any more. The USA government should step up to do something about this. We have lost so much integrity and respect. The USA’s future looks very gloom.

    DISGUSTING and WRONG! I haven’t watched ET in YEARS, because it’s all such kiss-ass reporting, with LOADS of repeated pictures and too many damned commercials. Then there’s Mary’s grading voice and fake sincerity.

    I imagine their website must be loaded with the same waste of time, with swirling ads, making any visitors click endlessly to read their stories to make more money. MOST people ‘into’ entertainment gossip don’t know this woman, BUT that doesn’t mean it’s okay to show her on her deathbed.

    Shame on ET or anyone who does this to anyone. I repeat, this is DISGUSTING and WRONG!
