Zsa Zsa Gabor Hospitalized With Lung Infection
Zsa Zsa Gabor was taken to an L.A. hospital on Monday after experiencing breathing problems. The issue was caused by a lung infection the 99-year-old actress developed from a breathing tube she had installed a few years ago. Gabor is set to have the breathing apparatus surgically removed.
Gabor, a former Miss Hungary who famously has been married nine times, including to Conrad Hilton, has been out of the public eye for the past half decade. Back in 2011, Gabor made numerous trips to the ER because of her ailing health. She was hospitalized for some time with a major blood clot, and after that she had her right leg amputated.
Doctors at the time found a cancerous lesion in her right leg, which they believed would be fatal if left untreated. After antibiotics proved to be insufficient, her limb was amputated. Just the year before in 2010, Gabor was in the hospital after she fell out of bed and broke her hip. She later had hip replacement surgery.
Gabor’s medical problems started years before when she was partially paralyzed in a 2002 car crash. And in 2005, she reportedly suffered a stroke. Gossip Cop wishes Gabor a full and speedy recovery from her latest health setback.
