Zooey Deschanel and husband Ben Gibbard have decided to separate after two years of marriage, a rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

We’re told the split was “amicable,” and that there isn’t a third party.

The actress-musician, who stars on “New Girl,” wed the Death Cab for Cutie rocker in September 2009.
