Zayn Malik of One Direction Rejoins Twitter

Zayn Malik of One Direction, who abruptly left Twitter a couple of days ago, rejoined the social media site on Thursday.

On Tuesday, the singer cited negativity and abuse directed his way by haters as a reason from leaving Twitter.

He explained, “The reason i don’t tweet as much as i use to, is because I’m sick of all the useless opinions and hate that I get daily goodbye twitter :).”

It seems the support far outweighed the hate, because on Thursday morning Malik returned to Twitter, writing, “Sorry, I was getting some abuse on twitter but I dont want to let my fans down. So I am back!! :)”

He added, “Thanks for all your messages of support. I really do love all you guys, your support never ceases 2 amaze me.”

    I understand his point. Some people can be so cruel on twitter, fb, etc, but if he’s going to be in this business, he has to have thick skin. What’s wrong with just ignoring negativity?

    @Kaylee It would be hard to avoid RACIST negativity, he was getting accused of being apart of a TERRORIST plot practical. Please tell me how someone will ever be ABLE to IGNORE that?!

    @Kaylee you can’t ignore it when you’re on the news, talk in facebook and when you’re trending worldwide on twitter for like 2 days. we never know it’s hurting them, the celebs, even if they have that ‘thick skin.
