Zayn Malik NOT Getting Hypnotherapy Before American Music Awards, Despite Report
Zayn Malik is NOT undergoing hypnotherapy to treat his anxiety prior to attending this Sunday’s American Music Awards, despite a phony webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
The singer, who’s nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 2016 AMA’s, has been open about his battle with anxiety. A so-called “source” now tells HollywoodLife that Malik has “been working with a hypnotherapist to get over any anxiety” before the show on November 20. Malik’s girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, happens to be co-hosting the AMAs, but the outlet’s seemingly made-up insider further purports the singer is worried “Gigi will be too busy working to help him if he has any trouble.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us Malik simply isn’t undergoing hypnotherapy to treat his anxiety. We’re told the webloid’s entire report is just “not true.” Of course, we have repeatedly called out HollywoodLife for publishing false stories about the former One Direction singer, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise.
Gossip Cop previously debunked the site’s tall tale about Hadid urging Malik to reunite with One Direction. And shortly before that nonsense, we busted the webloid for wrongly reporting that Malik was in a grocery store after cancelling his appearance on “The Voice.” There was no truth to either of those articles, and the same goes for this latest one.
