Zayn Malik Blasts “Fat Joke” Naughty Boy: “Stop Pretending We’re Friends”
It looks like the collaboration between Zayn Malik and Naughty Boy is over, if tweets sent from Malik’s account on Monday morning are authentic.
At 8:24 a.m. Eastern Time, Malik’s account tweeted, “@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we’re friends no one knows you.” Three minutes later, a second message was sent, saying, “Someone learned how to upload a video… maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain’t sh*t but a faker.”
Malik’s outburst and outrage seems to have been sparked by Naughty Boy leaking a clip of the singer’s supposed music video for his “No Type” cover. Naughty Boy has not yet replied to the tweets, though he has sent a few suggestive tweets of his own over the last few days, such as, “this ‘music’ business teaches you the tricks but never the truth. you know who you are.” The apparent dispute comes amid rumors Malik is planning to sign with a new manager and cut ties with Naughty Boy.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Malik teamed up with Naughty Boy almost immediately after he quit One Direction in March. They were already working together before his departure, but the extent of which, however, wasn’t clear until Malik’s exit. Many fans felt betrayed when a so-called “single” was released, and Louis Tomlinson even sparred with Naughty Boy twice on Twitter.
Now One Direction fans have trended “#ZAYNHASNOCHILL” both worldwide and in the United States in support of Malik’s tweets. Gossip Cop will have updates. Tell us what you think in the comments below.
