Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Fighting Over Daughter Zahara’s Future “Modeling”?

Truth rating: 1

(GettyImages.com)

Leave it to the National Enquirer to find a Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie “feud” just as the couple announced their engagement.

For the third consecutive week, the tabloid has published a story claiming one of Pitt and Jolie’s children is the reason for strife.

First, Jolie was supposedly freaking out over the possibility of losing adopted son Pax to his birth mother (not true).

Then, little Maddox’s alleged infatuation with Jennifer Aniston was said to be driving Jolie crazy (completely false).

But apparently all of that was mere prelude to the real issue in the household.

According to the Enquirer, Pitt is “seeing red over his daughter Zahara’s blue hair — and he’s battling Angelina Jolie over their little girl’s sudden desire to become a supermodel!”

Supposedly, Zahara recently got bright-blue braided extensions to mimic the look of Katy Perry and Selena Gomez.

“That’s just fine with her glamorous mom, who’s thrilled the once shy little beauty is being more assertive,” reports the magazine, continuing, “But dad Brad is dead set against it because he thinks the adopted tyke is too young to be thinking about a modeling career.”

Huh?

A so-called “source” says Zahara has “decided she wants to be a cover girl,” and has been practicing a “runway walk” and “pout” while showing interest in both her mom’s outfits and her own.

“Zahara is becoming a mini-fashion diva and Angie couldn’t be prouder,” alleges the Enquirer “source,” but Pitt “isn’t on board with the whole model idea.”

Um… Zahara is seven years old.

She likes clothes and got a new hairdo — but she’s not on the threshold of a “supermodel” career that’s driving a wedge between her parents.

The Enquirer has long been obsessed with what Jolie and Pitt’s children wear, jumping to all sorts of conclusions that bear no resemblance to reality.

This is another of those cases.

A source close to the family tells Gossip Cop there’s been absolutely no talk of Zahara modeling, nor has her hair (or anything else) been causing problems between Pitt and Jolie.

Considering they just got engaged I would say there wasn’t a *feud* there. Why do these rags use the children of celebrities to lie about? I find it disgusting.

Thank you for denouncing this story, Gossip Cop. It is such utter rubbish using Zahara to fabricate a controversy or feud there. You would think the tabs would draw a line at the children but they have no boundaries. They are more stable than ever and their engagement proves that. They got engaged because of their children who wanted that committment officially cemented for years. They have been married in their hearts for a long time so that is just a formality.

The regulars know I comment sometimes on the Pitt-Jolie articles and recognize me. However, there is an imposter also using the name Anonymous and is basically a Faniston troll trying to pose as me.
If this keeps happening, I will change my name. However, I hope the regulars understand I am a different person than her. I just wanted to say that to clear up confusion. The regulars will know the difference but others might be confused. I attemped to clear that up on the Engagement article, where I idenified myself as Anonymous-the original poster.

Also, the cheating claims in other articles have no merit whatsoever. The evidence and their actual behavior goes against the media’s misportrayals. I expect the media’s trashing and preposterous stories to go into overdrive now that they announced their engagement. I said this last time, but it might have gotten lost in my long replies. Congratulations! I am very happy that they are engaged but married or not, they have proved their committment as soulmates over the years.

    Yet another Ridiculous BS story,
Just be happy for them…My God.

And National Enquirer did it again. Making “news” up or turn it into half-lies and BS to sell it over other people’s back. How low can they go? Well. A lot, it seems.

I think that since this couple was able to get engaged without a word from these “sources/insiders/friends” knowing about it, I think it is safe to say that there is no one in their household talking to tabloids. Remember, she wore the ring on a Wednesday and no one wrote about it until two days later. At this point, I am not even sure the tabloid stories need to be busted as it is obvious they have no sources.

But it is going to be entertaining seeing them figure out how to explain how they all missed this story. Wednesday’s tabloid day should be a hoot!!!!

Oh boy, just wait until Tabloid Wednesday. Every slag rag in the nation is going to have a cover story about The Engagement, with a sidebar about How Jen Is Coping. It wouldn’t surprise me if they put out a Monday Special to commemorate the occasion.

Meanwhile, once the Jenhens’ heads stopped exploding, now they are trying to solace their anguish by claiming Angie’s engagement ring is really a “promise ring”, as if she and Brad were fifteen years old.

  • Guest1

So this exquisite piece of hand made, expensive, one of a kind jewelry is not the actual engagement ring? Wow, then what will the real “ring” look like if the “promise ring” is this gorgeous!!

Yes, let the silliness begin. I actually read where People will have a special edition on Monday, which will include you know who, but mostly Brad, Angelina and the family, without an interview though. People does have a new photo of the “promise ring” up close and it is a knockout. But isn’t an engagement ring, just a ring that says “I promise to marry you”, so technically, engagement rings are promise rings. But if they feel better saying it is only a ‘promise ring, then so be it.

  • Janet

Well, duh! What else is an engagement ring but a ring that says “I promise to marry you”?

Brad’s rep and the jeweler both specifically labeled it an engagement ring, not a “promise ring” or anything else as silly as that.

    Oh gawd…. http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerfriedman/2012/04/14/stop-the-presses-people-mag-rips-up-cover-for-brangelina/

I think I’m going to take a detour to work tomorrow to bypass all the newsstands. I’m delighted for Brad and Angie but I’m really Brangie’d out.

Anyway, Jezebel’s “Midweek Madness” should be hilarious, so that will provide some relief.

You are right on vera. Using the children is definitely disgusting. And so what if Zahara has blue hair? Hair can be changed in a matter of minutes…and it is only hair! When you have kids you choose your battles…..and hair should not be one of them! Ask any parent with grown children what their kids were doing at the same age. Point is…Brad and Angelina are great parents and are smart enough to realize that little things like Zahara with blue hair and wanting to be a model….at 7….is nothing to get all worked up about! She will want to be many more things before she is an adult. Brad and Angie will no doubt support her no matter what she chooses as a career.

EXACTLY!!! Where were all these “sources” and “insiders” when the engagement took place? But I’m sure they will show up with quotes in next week’s rags.

“adopted tyke” 1. she is 7 kid would make more sense. 2. That is his DAUGHTER I am 100% sure he doesn’t go around saying ‘Hey have you met my adopted Afrian kid?’ It’s amazing how the gossip rags write such garbage and people pay to read the lies and ridiculous. AND if Zahara wants to be a model great! But, seeing that both parents are in the industry I just hope they continue to keep the kids interested in school. Believe me in a 7 year olds mind model today vet tomorrow.

The truth behind the media’s spin and misportrayals is mind-boggling. Chelsea Handler is the one who actually had an affair with a married man in the past, she is the real homewrecker. She is as trashy and shallow as one can get. Then again, that is not a stretch for Aniston’s circle of friends who do her dirty work for her. Even before Handler, Aniston would make vicious remarks using her fake sources, ie, lackeys to do this with the media underhandedly. I don’t have the stomach to go that article and deal with the comments. All of this garbage and hate she spouts is what Aniston tells her friends. Then they for nearly five years, they spout this as fake sources to the tabs, gossip columns, other magazines, and as many other celebs they could. Then later Aniston befriended her ultimate crazy fangirl who she had been acquainted with before when she is suddenly became popular over her talk show. This is all sycophantism and loyalty to Aniston and being incredibly influenced by tabloids and press sleaze. This what the media celebrates, bullying somebody over a lie.
