The one question everyone seems to have after Zach Galifianakis hosted “Saturday Night Live” last night is: Did he really shave off his bushy beard during the broadcast?
The comedian and star of The Hangover was bearded for the first portion of the show, then beardless during a “Pageant Show” sketch, then apparently bearded again when he joined the cast to say goodnight at the end.
Was his beard expertly covered by the makeup department during the pageant sketch? Were viewers fooled by camera tricks? Does Galifianakis have facial hair superpowers?
Well, we have a definitive answer.
Gossip Cop can exclusively confirm that Galifianakis did shave his beard during the broadcast.
A rep for the show tells us the host shaved during the second Vampire Weekend performance.
Galifianakis then wore a fake beard while saying goodnight.
