During the interview, Galifianakis discussed the red carpet event for his new film, The Lego Batman Movie. “It was nice, the movie is very enjoyable,” the actor said. Galifianakis, however, went on to discuss how he had a difficult time hearing the movie during its premiere. “I couldn’t hear it. I had an ear infection the other day. I couldn’t hear anybody’s voice, and even during my parts, I was like, ‘Shut up everybody! Shut up!’ I couldn’t hear anything,” he joked.
Galifianakis then jokingly revealed his son’s names. “Being in LA, I didn’t want to give them LA names. One of them is called Pink Berry. Pink Berry is the older one. And the other one is named Jared Leno. It’s a cross between Jared Leto and Jay Leno,” he quipped, prompting the audience to burst into laughter.
Galifianakis continued, “My kids don’t know anything,” he joked. “We don’t talk about what I do for a living, nor do my wife and I.” The actor also discussed a particular moment when his son saw his face on a billboard while driving in Los Angeles. “When you’re lucky enough to have a show in this town, there’s billboards. I was driving with my son, and there’s a bus that pulls up, and it had my picture on it. So I’m looking in the rearview mirror to see how my three-year-old is reacting to it, and he looks over, and he sighs,” Galifianakis said. “As if [to say], ‘how long is this phase gonna last?'” Check out the hilarious video below!
