Zac Efron Chasing Rihanna for Hookup?

Fresh off rumors wrongly linking him to The Lucky One co-star Taylor Schilling, Zac Efron is now allegedly “working overtime to woo chart-topper Rihanna.”

At least that’s what Star claims!

The tabloid’s “insider” says, “Zac has been incredibly persistent. He’s wanted to hook up with Rihanna for years and thinks now the time is finally right.”

Efron allegedly sent four dozen roses to Rihanna’s hotel room when both were in Australia in April, reports Star, leading Rihanna to call his room and agree to meet up with Efron back in Los Angeles.

“Zac’s sick of his good-guy image,” explains the Star insider. “He wants to cut loose and have some fun — and he thinks Rihanna is the perfect girl for that.”

Uh-huh.

First of all, we don’t think Efron needs any help shedding his “good-guy image.”

Second, Star tried to hook up these two way back in 2009 — and the rumor was as phony then as it is now.

A source close to Rihanna tells Gossip Cop the Efron rumor is totally “inaccurate,” while an Efron insider assures it’s talk of a hookup is “false.”
