Zac Brown Band’s first song on “SNL” was “Homegrown.” The song, “Heavy Is The Head,” featuring Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell, is the second song to be released off their upcoming album Jekyll + Hyde, slated for release in April. “Heavy Is The Head” made its world premiere on Friday on the iHeartRadio stations.

The new album features 16 tracks, including “Mango Tree” with Sara Bareilles. In addition to Cornell and Bareilles, Zac Brown Brown has collaborated over the years with a number of others artists, including Jimmy Buffett, Dave Grohl, Jason Mraz, and Kid Rock, to name a few.

As Gossip Cop previously noted, Zac Brown Band’s first appearance on “SNL” is in advance of the group’s release of its fourth studio album and a big North America tour, beginning in May and ending in September, with stops at many of the country’s biggest venues.
