Add another big name to the group of celebs set to party (and perform) on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.

Kanye West will make his DJ debut at 1Oak, the brand new nightclub at The Mirage.

For several days, West has been tweeting that he’d like to deejay under the moniker YeezyWorldPeace, apparently inspired by Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest‘s decision to legally changed his name to Metta World Peace.

“My New Years DJ name is gone be YEEZY WORLD PEACE! If you book me you have to put YEEZY WORLD PEACE on the E-vite. Or I ain’t spinning,” tweeted West on Wednesday.

It looks like he may have gotten his wish, because a source connected to 1Oak tells Gossip Cop that he’ll be playing at the club’s grand opening tonight.

Here’s hoping “World Peace” becomes a common refrain in 2012.
