Woody Allen BLASTED by Son Ronan Farrow on Father’s Day

Ronan Farrow, the son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, observed Father’s Day by SLAMMING his estranged dad for leaving his mom for her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn back in 1992.

The 24-year-old Rhodes Scholar and human rights lawyer tweeted, “Happy father’s day — or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.”

Wow.

Mia Farrow then retweeted the message, adding, “BOOM.”

Ronan became estranged from Allen after discovering his dad’s affair with Soon-Yi, which he called a “moral transgression.”

Farrow adopted Soon-Yi with her second husband André Previn.

    Cathy, are you kidding? This is his family. This was an awful thing to happen to HIS family, not yours. After this mess Allen’s not only famous for his movies, but the “Woody Allen questions” that are now commonly asked at custody proceedings: “What’s the name of your child’s teacher?” “What’s the name of your child’s best friend?” “What’s the name of your child’s doctor?” etc., etc. Allen knew answers to none of them. Needless to say he didn’t get joint custody. Who would want this pervert around your children?

    Ronan is certainly entitled to his feelings. However, I fail to see the need to air them in public. This all went down 20 years ago and was well publicized at the time. Why bring it up now? It all just seems gratutiously spiteful and wont change anything.

    Sure it needs bringing up, everyone treating like he did nothing wrong, lauding him as a genius. Have you seen the pictures of his new adopted girls? Looks like they are living in hell. He needs to be turned out and Ronan doesn’t deserve anybody depreciating him for having done so. The public needs to be reminded as the steeple have a memory span of about ten minutes.

    I think Ronan has the absolute right to try his best to humiliate and if possible (which I doubt) expose this creep for what he did to their family. Nobody has a right to in any way tell this young man how he should feel about this man that was supposed to be his father, chose to leave the family in order to have a sexual relationship with a young girl that was his step-daughter.     You can’t call Allen a pedophile; Soon Yi was legal age when the whole thing went down. But morally it was despicable. He destroyed the relationship between Soon Yi and her mother while cheating on his paramour with her own adopted daughter. What kind of POS does something like that? He may be an artistic genius. But I’ve never been able to watch one of his films after what he did to Farrow. He should have been taken out back and shot.

Even though he married his adopted daughter when she was only 13 years old, they tell me that if Woody Allen hires you for sure you will get ‘banged”. He is nothing but an old pervert who has “banged’ himself so until he looks like he can’t even walk straight. He has to live with that for the rest of his life. Evidently, Woody Allen has not been trying to make peace with his “biological” son. Maybe it was best for him not to because he might’ve turned on him.

    There is resentment there. I would have it too. He was old enough at the time to know what was going on. No telling what he saw for himself. Woody hasn’t made peace with his 1st family yet, evidently.

    Children always want attention from their parents no matter what age they are. Ronan might feel empty or abandon by his father for not trying to make peace with him over the years. You never get over that. He missed having a father like other children.

    Good for Ronan. It is amazing how other people are so quick to say someone should get over something because is happened years ago. Walk a mile in Ronan’s shoes and see how you feel then. Family members crew up other family members. That’s why people have such difficult times later on. Just because Woody Allen can make movies does not make him a good person. This was creepy when it happened and still is. That’s what’s wrong with thing now. Someone is a celebrity and people want to cut them some slack. He is still a pervert.

    Of course there’s going to be resentment, especially if he feels like his dad abandoned him as a kid. I didn’t have this kind of family drama, but I hated both of my parents for a long time. It’s unhealthy to have this deep resentment, even if he knows that he can’t have a relationship with his father & what Woody did was wrong.
    You’re right, maybe he saw something & those memories continue to plague him.. I just don’t think his mother needs to be adding fuel to the fire, even though she was hurt by their actions herself.

    Woody Allen didn’t do anything wrong.
    Ronan & Mia are good people but they continue to be too closed-minded about this issue.
    Soon-Yi thoroughly explained the situation on more than one occasion and it’s all quite harmless.
    It’s a bit odd because of Soon-Yi’s relationship to Mia but there was nothing wrong about it.

    just curious, How does he Make Peace with his Family? By Divorcing his Wife? From what I heard, he tried to maintain contact with his Son, but Mia wouldn’t let him.     the reason he should Get over it, kis FOR HIM, not for his father, Holding onto Anger is Bad for Him, is not Healthy, it just poisons him. i can’t remember the book by Dr Phil, but i had a book written by Dr phil, it had to do with forgiveness, with letting go, because a person can’t have a good life if they hold onto anger. The book went on to say that you need to Forgive, not for then person being forgiven, but for the person going through the hurt. Holding onto anger, bad feelings, just poisons a person, so Ronan needs to let go, forgive his father—a person doesn’t even have to know that they are being forgiven, you do it for yourself, holding onto bad feelings just plain hurts the person. Woody is definitely a low life, does not deserve to be forgiven, but Ronan needs to do it—for his own mental health. Doesn’t do him any good holding onto anger

    I swear that i remember reading that when she was quite young, Woody came onto her, and she didn’t like it. then, when she got older—-makes me Wonder if she was Brain Washed by Woody. i sure wouldn’t Marry my abuser. You’d think that would bother her, the fact that he abused her when she was younger.

    I just checked, Soon Yi was born in 1970, it was revealed in 1992 that they were involved, she would be about 22 then. They were married in 1997–making her about 27, not 13.
