U.S. Women’s Basketball Team Goes For Gold Medal In Olympics Final (SPOILER)

The U.S. women’s basketball team went for a fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal on Saturday when they battled France in the final of the London Summer Games.

Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Maya Moore and the rest of the American squad were caught in tight game early as their basketball compatriot Kobe Bryant watched from the stands.

The U.S. team triumphed by a score of 86-50!

Parker led the way with 21 points as the Americans broke the game wide open in the second half for blowout win.

Earlier in the day, Australia defeated Russia for the bronze medal.
