William H. Macy dissed One Direction big time during an interview on Thursday’s “Live! With Kelly and Michael.”

The “Shameless” star brought up the boy band when discussing his 13-year-old daughter Sophia, revealing his less-than-stellar impression of a 1D concert they attended.

“I’ve been in showbiz all my life, so, let me just say, those guys can sing. They are very talented,” began Macy before dropping his first zinger: “They couldn’t put on a good show with a gun to their head.”

The actor acknowledged that his daughter “loved it and so did about 17,000 other kids,” but went on to mock the group’s choreography (or lack thereof), and called Harry Styles out for eating “a sandwich while two of his guys were singing.”

“I mean call me old-fashioned, but when I’m downstage singing my heart out, you better not eat a sandwich behind me,” said Macy. It got worse from there.
