Will Smith and Jaden Smith will star together in a sci-fi adventure being directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

The untitled movie is set 1,000 years in the future, as a young boy and his estranged father crash their ship on an abandoned Earth.

“The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project,” said Shyamalan.

The Smiths starred together in 2006′s The Pursuit of Happyness.

Jaden Smith recently played the title role in a new version of The Karate Kid.
