Will Ferrell And Mark Wahlberg Embarrass Their Families At Kids Soccer Games (VIDEO)
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg appear on Thursday’s “Graham Norton Show,” where they both admit to being overenthusiastic soccer dads who embarrass the entire families at their children’s games. See the funny video below.
Wahlberg and Ferrell are on the British talk show’s New Year’s Eve special to discuss their new movie, Daddy’s Home, and the conversation turns to the stars’ real-life parenting skills. “They’re not liking me at the [soccer] games anymore,” Wahlberg admits. “I get a little too crazy.” The host then shows a photo of the actor screaming at his son on the sidelines, and he reveals that he wasn’t even coaching the game. “I’m just with the other parents,” says Wahlberg.
Wahlberg goes on to say that he gets so out of control that his wife “acts like she doesn’t know me.” He adds, “I lost my voice for about a week screaming and yelling.” But his nine-year-old son wound up losing the game anyway, and so Wahlberg jokes, “I had to beat him. I had money on that freaking game,” to which Ferrell chimes in, “So did I.”
Ferrell then confesses to often acting the same way at his kids’ games. “I had a moment where I was screaming at my oldest son, who was 10 at the time,” the comedian says. “He stops in the middle of the game and says, ‘What?’ and I realized I had lost my mind, and said, ‘Never mind.'”
