Will Arnett Uses Batman Voice To Get His Kids To Behave (VIDEO)
Will Arnett appeared on Tuesday’s “Today” show, during which he admitted to using his scary Batman voice to get his two young boys to behave. Watch the funny video below!
Arnett voiced Batman in 2014’s The Lego Movie and will reprise the character next year in his own spinoff. “I feel like we tapped into something kind of fun on The Lego Movie with Batman,” the actor said. “And for me, it was great because I was able to take a very iconic character and mess with everything we know about him.”
Arnett went on to note that the upcoming Lego Batman Movie will explore “why Batman is so depressed.” The actor joked, “I mean his parents were killed in front of him, but apart from that, what’s his problem?” In addition to voicing Batman, Arnett also co-stars in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, but despite the popularity of his movies, Arnett admitted his kids don’t think he’s that cool. “I mean every day, I’m showing them clips and they’re like, ‘Whatever,'” the actor divulged.
And when his kids don’t listen, Arnett revealed, “I don’t yell.” The actor then put on his deep, booming Batman voice and noted, “What I do is I’ll come in and say, ‘You turn that iPad off right now!'” He added, “And they’re like, ‘Oh my god.’ I feel badly because it’s scary.” Watch Arnett’s full “Today” show interview below!
