Whoopi Goldberg Getting Booted from “The View”?

According to the National Enquirer, Whoopi Goldberg is “convinced” her days as moderator of “The View” are numbered.

Goldberg has allegedly “racked up” major demerits with boss Barbara Walters for recent “wacky behavior,” such as her tense interactions with guests Bill O’Reilly and Michaele Salahi, as well as blasting the New York Times for leaving her out of a story about black Oscar winners.

“No one has come to Whoopi offering to extend her contract,” explains a so-called “show insider,” who claims that Walters is “definitely tiring of her act” despite the pair’s longtime friendship.

“In a perfect world, Barbara would like to see Elisabeth Hasselbeck replace Whoopi as the show’s leader/moderator,” explains the tabloid’s source, “But you can’t really demote Whoopi without dumping her completely, so…”

Is Goldberg really convinced her contract won’t be renewed?

No.

A rep for “The View” tells Gossip Cop that the Enquirer‘s story is “completely untrue.”

    This is so rediculous, it’s funny. If any of it were true, we would have been informed by Ms.Walters or Whoopi. The person that came up with this one really must need the money. Go pick on The Talk,maybe you’ll have better luck.

    I truly hope her contract is not continued. I use to love hearing Whoopi talk but ever since she started on pysche drugs I can’t stand to hear her ramblings.

    Don’t get rid of Whoopi, see your way to re-view things. Success does not come and stay forever. 13teen years is a long time; 13teen seconds can change everyone’s opinion about everyone there.

    I think that Whoopi is a very smart Woman, BUT dressing casual and looking like a HOMELESS PERSON, is TWO different things,SHE looks as though sometimes she just gets out of Bed NO SOAP and Water , just get up and comes to work on the VIEW, Which I am TIRED OF SEEING,

    good riddens, she look disgusting. She looks messy for the View Shows. Her farting on the show was too unprofessional, yeah, sure that accidents happens, but come on! She appears to be very lazy looking for the show and the looks is just unfit for the show as well. She looks so messy all the time. She seems to show no respect for others and for herself, and takes the show not too serious at all. I mean she looks so messy and dirty all the time, she just doesn’t belong in the View show even to beginning time. She needs to get out of the show soon. She ruins the image of the View Shows and I don’t like to watch the View because of her. When she has gone forever, I will watch the View Show again.

    I keep watching hoping to catch it “live” when Whoopi melts down and Barbara loses it. It’s drugs baby, pure and simple. Whoopi’s unkempt appearance is a sign. Just read that Whitney Houston let her baby go for days without changing the diaper. Whoopi is a dirty diaper. Unprofessional, slovenly trying to get through it. Whoopi admits to using weed but I bet there is a lot more going on there. Do a show on “rehab” maybe Ms. Goldberg will go.
