Whoopi Goldberg is continuing to support Bill Cosby. On Tuesday’s “The View,” Goldberg said she didn’t want to “make judgements” about disgraced comedian because he hasn’t “been proven a rapist.”

Golberg’s comments about Cosby came after previously sealed court documents revealed on Monday that the comedian admitted in a sworn deposition in 2005 that he had purchased the drug quaaludes to give to women so they would have sex with him.

“I think it’s again we’ll see what happens as more information comes out. People can make judgements,” said Goldberg, adding, “I don’t like snap judgements because I’ve had snap judgements made on me, so I’m very, very careful.” Goldberg then addressed her potential critics: “Save your texts. Save your nasty comments. I don’t care.”

Goldberg explained, “I say this because this is my opinion, and in America, still, I know it’s a shock, but you are still innocent until proven guilty… He has not been proven a rapist.”

“The View” co-host Raven-Symone also chimed in, but acknowledged it was difficult for her to talk about it because Cosby “gave me my first job.” She played his step-granddaughter on “The Cosby Show.” “I don’t really like to discuss [this] because he is the reason I am on this panel in the first place,” said Raven-Symone, adding, “You need proof, and then I will be able to give my judgement here or there.”
