Whitney Houston Family Had “Showdown” With Ray J at Billboard Music Awards?

Truth rating: 4

(TMZ)

Ray J was almost physically removed from the Billboard Music Awards last night after angry members of Whitney Houstons family ordered their security to get him away from them,” reports TMZ.

According to the site, “Pat Houstons blood was boiling because she, Bobbi Kristina and other family members were seated next to Ray J, the person Pat believes was a very bad influence on Whitney.”

TMZ adds, “Pat’s security summoned hotel security, along with several uniformed officers to physically remove Ray J” from the awards ceremony at the MGM Grand.

So then why did Ray J remain seated next to the family throughout the night?

The blog says it’s because “just before push was about to come to shove, security warned Pat that things would likely get physical and it would almost certainly be caught on video, just as Whitney was about to be honored,” so Pat “grudgingly recanted and Ray J kept his seat.”

However, while there appears to be a bit of bad blood between Houston’s family and Ray J, Gossip Cop is told the alleged incident is “not true.”

A Houston family insider tells us, “There was no drama,” adding, ”The Billboard people arranged seating and all was fine.”

If it’s true, Ray J couldn’t have had as much bad influence on Whitney as that bum she married.

It seems that her family is trying to blame everyone for her addiction and are neglecting to accept the fact that she was a grown adult who was capable of making her own decisions. Unfortunately, she chose poorly.

I seriously doubt this happened! If that were the case and they felt that way Ray J wouldn’t have gotten an invite to Whitney’s funeral. Use common sense people and don’t believe everything u hear! Goodness…
