Wendy Williams To Nicole Scherzinger: You Wasted Your “Good Years” To Have Children — WATCH VIDEO
The talk show host said it to the singer’s face on Wednesday’s episode of “The Wendy Williams Show.” Right off the bat Williams and Scherzinger awkwardly acknowledged she’s been spoken about “a lot” on the program because it’s a “say it like you mean it show,” and Williams certainly went on to prove that. After insinuating Scherzinger only became Neil Patrick Harris’ sidekick on “Best Time Ever” because they have a “good relationship,” Williams questioned the star about her personal life.
“The last time we talked about you in Hot Topics, I was talking about the seven-year-relationship you had with that race car driver Lewis Hamilton ending,” began Williams. “And I was saying — truth — ’cause you’re 37, and I was like this is a woman who spent seven years of her life breaking up and getting back together.”
Williams then said, “Poor us, because they can have babies whenever they want. You know what I mean? Those are seven years you can never get back. He was really wealthy, and I was rootin’ for ya, girl. So I’m sorry to hear about that.” Scherzinger responded by noting her belief that “everything happens for a reason,” and acknowledged that seven years is a “long time.”
That’s when Williams said, “And the good years down here,” motioning to her lady parts. At that point, Scherzinger didn’t make eye contact with Williams, instead saying, “That’s alright, though,” and again trying to explain why it’s perfectly fine the way her life has worked out so far. Since the airing, Williams has been slammed on social media for shaming Scherzinger about not being a mother yet.
And things actually continued to be uncomfortable when Williams questioned whether Scherzinger is still in touch with her former Pussycat Dolls group mates because she’s the only one still “relevant.” While this is hardly the first time Williams has been controversial, it is the second time in the last three days. As Gossip Cop reported, Kim Zolciak blasted her on Monday, after she suggested the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant “faked” her stroke to get out of the ABC competition.
