Wendy Williams to Jennifer Lawrence: Stop Whining About Your Nude Photos (VIDEO)
Wendy Williams has criticized Jennifer Lawrence for her outrage over the nude photo hacking, with the talk show host making no apologies for looking at the pictures herself and blaming Lawrence for turning the photo theft into a big deal. On Wednesday’s “The Wendy Williams Show,” the host brought up Lawrence’s new Vanity Fair profile, in which the actress talks about being victimized by hackers and everyone who looked at her stolen private pictures.

Williams declared, “It’s not your choice, it’s in the cloud, and I’ve looked several times. So I guess I’m disgusting for looking?” The host then polled her audience on whether they’d looked at the Lawrence pictures, half-jokingly calling them “liars” for not admitting to it.
After a long digression about a dream she had, Williams returned to the hacking issue. “Jennifer Lawrence, you know what? Don’t sweat this, young lady,” said Williams. “I mean, you’re the one who took the pictures.” After explaining how Lawrence snapped the images for her then-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, the host added, “In my opinion, if she would just stop talking about the [iCloud] and the naked pictures, it’d go away! We’d all forget about it!” “Besides, Jen, you don’t look bad under your clothes, and I think the [hacking] has actually made your career even hotter,” declared Williams.
A couple of points. First of all, it’s not like Lawrence keeps bringing up the nudes — she addressed the situation exactly once, in Vanity Fair, after weeks during which it was already the biggest story in Hollywood. Second, it’s a little odd to claim that having her nude photos hacked somehow helped take the already insanely famous Oscar winner’s career to a new level. Do you think Williams has a point?
