The big screen adaptation of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has its first trailer. Watch below!

Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer play a CIA-KGB agent duo who are forced to team up under the United Network Command for Law Enforcement to infiltrate and take down a mysterious organization. Hugh Grant plays Waverly, the head of U.N.C.L.E. Guy Ritchie directs the movie, based on the hit 1960s TV series of the same name.

As Gossip Cop reported, Tom Cruise was originally attached to star opposite Hammer when Hammer’s casting was announced in April 2013. Just weeks later, however, Cruise dropped out, and he was replaced by Cavill, who more than proved he could be a box office leading man with Man of Steel. After filming began that fall, a false tabloid story claimed Cavill and Hammer were fighting on the set. Gossip Cop corrected the claim, with a source telling us that everyone was “getting along.”

Now moviegoers can get a first glimpse at their efforts, with Cavill describing the movie to People as “a cool, sexy and especially not heavy Cold War spy thriller.” Of working with Hammer and Grant, the actor says, “They’re both wonderful people and a pleasure to work with.” The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will open in theaters on August 14.
