The 2016 Emmys red carpet is getting underway, and Gossip Cop has a live stream. Watch online below!
At 7 p.m. Eastern, Lara Spencer and Chris Harrison are hosting “Countdown to the Emmy Awards: Red Carpet Live.” The one-hour special is airing on ABC immediately before the 68th annual ceremony. As the official pre-show, the network is promising “interviews with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, giving viewers a front-row seat as the nominees and presenters arrive on the red carpet.”
Those arrivals will be taking place outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Spencer and Harrison will be joined by Tim Gunn, who will give his no-holds-barred assessment on all the celebrity fashion. Rachel Smith of ABC News and Michelle Beadle of ESPN will also be on hand.
It all leads up to the main show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, but even then viewers will still get behind-the-scenes access to TV’s biggest night. The Television Academy’s “Backstage LIVE!” will have cameras rolling inside the venue and broadcasting online. Fans can see celebs interacting, winners giving additional thank yous, and stars posing for their official Emmy portraits.
The red carpet is already up and running, so watch below! NOTE: Live stream is no longer available.
