Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran opened the “Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star Grammy Salute” with a sensational tribute to the iconic performer. The special program aired on CBS on Monday. Watch the video below!

The two stars filmed their killer joint performance at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live last week, just two days after they each shined at the Grammy Awards. While Sheeran was a previously announced participant, Beyonce wasn’t, and her surprise appearance drove the audience wild. It began with Beyoncé telling the crowd to get on their feet, before she approached Wonder himself and kissed his cheek.

The superstar then sang “Fingertips, Pt. 2” solo, after which she was joined by Sheeran and Gary Clark, Jr. for “Master Blaster” and “Higher Ground.” She rocked out for nine minutes total, and Sheeran was ecstatic over the experience. He took to Instagram afterward to share a pic of himself with Beyoncé and Clark, writing, “Had a brilliant time performing with these two tonight at the Stevie Wonder tribute.”

After her performance, Beyoncé could be seen passionately singing along in the audience, particularly when Wonder himself took the stage for a medley. She and Sheeran were just two of the top performers that took part in the star-studded tribute, along with Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, and John Legend.
