Warren Buffett: What Does Kim K. Do?

Super-billioniare Warren Buffett is not completely familiar with Kim Kardashian’s work.

The not-so-shocking revelation comes courtesy of a new interview with the legendary businessman.

Buffett has been very vocal about wanting wealthy Americans (like himself) to pay higher taxes.

Meanwhile, the Courage Campaign advocacy group has launched TaxKimK.com to advocate for a ”Millionaires Tax of 2012,” claiming that Kardashian “only paid 1% more in taxes than a middle-class Californian” in 2010.

Time magazine, which has Buffett on its cover this week, asked him about Kardashian’s tax rate.

“I’ve seen her name,” replied Buffett, “But I wouldn’t be able to tell what she does but put her name in the paper.”

Hmm.

Apparently, Buffett is one of the few people not watching “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.”

    What is the purpose of this article? He’s a successful, educated professional. You take issue with the fact that he isn’t familiar with that vapid, plastic attention whore? I can tell you that I am significantly less successful and educated than he and I haven’t heard Kim’s voice more than three times, and that was during commercials.

    Where exactly do you read anything in this posting by GC which indicates that they take issue with the fact that Mr Buffet does not know what KimK does? Apparently, being significantly less successful and educated than Warren Buffet is not the only thing you are less than, as in less than capable of comprehending the written word without interjecting your own unique idea of what was actually said.
    This is an informational piece by GC illustrating the fact that a well known and very successful businessman like, Warren Buffet can not determine what KimK does except get her name in the paper….nothing more. Read only what is written, not what you think is written and you will be greatly more successful, than you are.

    GC “takes issue” by insinuating that he is out of step with the vast majority of people who are watching her television show. The “hmm” is patronizing.

    Even in the most literal interpretation of the article, GC is clearly stating that there are few people who do not watch their show, therefore, Buffett is on the outside. THAT is a judgement, not a report.

    It comes as no surprise to me that a billionaire businessman and philanthropist would have neither the time nor the inclination to familiarize himself with Kim Kardashian. What is surprising is that so many other people do. Me included, since I took the time to click on this site!

    LOL Mr. Buffett that’ s what I wonder too!!! Okay he says he’s unfamiliar with Kim Kardashian. I am familiar with her and I still don’t know why she’s famous. She’s pretty, a great butt but so what.
