Jani Lane was remembered last night in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where his former band Warrant performed.

While the entire concert was dedicated to Lane, who died on Thursday at the age of 47, the band made special note of the singer’s passing when they sang ”Heaven,” which was penned by Lane and was the group’s most commercially successful tune.

Check out the video below of Warrant and the audience singing “Heaven” in Lane’s memory.

I was shocked and sadden to here the passing of Jani Lane ,why didn’t someone realize that he had a problem with alcohol& perscription pills? such a dangerous combo. So many rock stars have passed do to this way! A close friend or family should have had a close watch on Jani or sent him to see Hollwood’s rehab Dr. Drew. I watch every sunday here in Ontario. I see that Steven Adler , drummer for G.N.R. is batteling this terrible disease . I wish him well and all patiants. A word to Steven Adler ! When you get better come to” Rock The Park in London,Ontario Canada ” next July. I would be glad to meet you! I had a few strokes and nearly died,i had 2millon plattlets in my blood ,my doctor said i should have died. God was not ready for me yet! R.I .P. Jani!
