Wanya Morris “GMA” Video: No “Regrets” After “Dancing With The Stars” Elimination
Wayna Morris was on “GMA” on Tuesday just hours after his “Dancing with the Stars” elimination, and insisted he has no “regrets.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Morris earned not one, but TWO perfects scores during Monday’s semi-finals. But at the end of the episode, he and partner Lindsay Arnold were shockingly eliminated. After the stunning results, the two hopped on a flight to New York to make a live interview on “Good Morning America.”
Asked if he has any “regrets,” Morris said absolutely not, noting he left everything on the “dance floor.” “I left all that weight out there, too,” he joked, referring to the pounds he shed while competing on the ABC show. More seriously, he went on, “I persevered, I endured. It’s a lot of long afternoons, a lot of long evenings. A lot of dancing. And I feel absolutely great.”
“I feel the blessing God gave me to experience this is something that I could never forecast. I’m just excited to even be here right now,” he added. Arnold also noted, “The best part of the season for me was watching him transform as a dancer, watching his body transform. It was like he turned into a new man.”
She continued, “I feel like he gained a new self-confidence that he didn’t have before. I love watching that, because as a pro, that’s more rewarding than getting the Mirror Ball, honestly.” As for that Mirror Ball, three couples remain in contention.
“For anyone else to have a good chance to win, they have to dance for their lives,” Morris said. But he has his eye on one contestant in particular: “Nyle [DiMarco] is a phenomenon. He can’t hear the music, but he’s dancing, he’s acting. He’s doing everything that it takes.” Check out the full interview below!
