Wanya Morris Gets Mixed Reviews On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Wanya Morris and Witney Carson got mixed reviews on “Switch Up” night with their tango to James Bay’s “Hold Back The River” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Usually, Morris dances Lindsay Arnold. Watch the video below.
Morris has been among the top contenders this season. Last week, he came in second with a score of 35 out of 40 for samba. During the “Dancing With The Stars” season premiere, the Boyz II Men singer tied for the top score with his cha cha. In the competition’s second week, Morris’s salsa also earned him the heighest score. And in Week Three, Morris also banned second place in Week for his waltz to the Star-Spangled Banner.
On “Switch Up” night, Len Goodman felt Morris hit “Turbulent waters” and called it “hectic.” Guest judge Maksim Chmerkovskiy similarly said, “It felt like it was falling apart.” Bruno Tonioli liked it a little more than Chmerkovskiy and goodman. And Carrie Ann Inaba noted she missed the natural chemistry he has with Arnold, but still she thought he “brought it.”
