Wanya Morris Nails Second Perfect Score On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Semifinals (VIDEO)
Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold dance a flawless Charleston to Avicii’s “Shame on Me ” on this week’s “Dancing With The Stars.” It was his second perfect score of the night. Watch the video below.
Last week, Morris earned only 25 points of out 30, the week’s lowest score, for his jive to Aloe Blacc’s “Can You Do This.” Both Morris and the judges were disappointed with Boyz II Men singer’s routine. In the past, Morris had been higher up on the leaderboard. He did receive, however, a 29 for his Judges’ Team-Up Challenge dance with Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy.
But this week was another story. Before this routine, Morris and Arnold were joined by Witney Carson for their flawless trio paso double. It marked Morris’s first perfect score. And the Boyz II Men seemed to have taken the momentum into the next round.
For his Charleston on the semifinals, Len Goodman said, “If natural dance talent was in the dictionary, there’d be a photograph of you.” Bruno Tonioli said he did a“great job” and had :great talent.” And Carrie Ann Inaba added, “You are my hero,” and praised him for his “comeback on top.”
Morris and Arnold’s routine to Avicii’s “Shame on Me” earned them a perfect 30 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold’s second perfect performance on the semifinals.
