Wanya Morris Gives “Beautiful” Performance On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold gave a “beautiful” performance on “Icons” night with their foxtrot to Aretha Franklin’s “I Say a Little Prayer” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch the video below.
Morris had a near-perfect score last week, thanks to his jazz routine to *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” on “Famous Dance” night. He and Arnold scored 29 out of 30 points to put them on the top of the leaderboard once again. Len Goodman felt he took “a great step forward towards the finals,” And Bruno Tonioli called it “brilliant.”
The Boyz II Men uncharacteristically faltered the week before with his “Switch Up” partner Witney Carson, but clearly he bounced back. For the most part, Morris has not only been a fan favorite, but he has also been considered among the frontrunners on this season of “Dancing With The Stars.”
On “Icons” night, Goodman said, “It was full of whimsy and joy…well done.” Tonioli exclaimed, “Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.” Carrie Ann Inaba, however, thought it was “very good,” but not extraordinary.
For Morris and Arnold’s foxtrot routine to Aretha Frankilin’s “I Say a Little Prayer” on “Icons” night, they received a total of 27 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
