Wanya Morris Called “King Of Ballroom” On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Latin Night (VIDEO)
Wanya Morris and his partner Lindsay Arnold wowed the judges and audience on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” with their spirited salsa to Pitbull’s “Echa Pa’lla” on “Latin Night.” See the video below in which he was called the “King of the ballroom.”
Last week, during the “Dancing With The Stars” premiere, Morris of Boyz II Men impressed the show’s toughest judge, Len Goodman, with his cha cha to his own group’s “Motownphilly.” Goodman said, “You could make it to the end of the road.” And Bruno Tonioli liked his “ease” and “swagger.” Morris’s first foray on the dance floor earned him and Arnold 23 out of 30 points, which tied them in first place with Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatrotd and ABC weatherwoman Ginger Zee and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
This time around Carrie Ann Inaba called Morris, “The king of the ballroom.” Tonioli also was very impressed. He exclaimed, “That is how you salsa… Go for it, man!” And Goodman loved that Morris’s salsa was “full of dance, energy, excitement.” He added, “Well done!” Morris noted afterwards that he’s having fun and already lost 15 pounds.
Morris and Arnold’s salsa on “Latin Night” earned them a total of 24 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold’s dance to Pitbull’s “Echa Pa’lla” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
