Wanda Sykes ripped Donald Trump and Republicans on “The View” on Friday, only holding back in one regard. Check out the video below.

Sykes was on the ABC talk to show to promote the movie Snatched, but was asked about Trump and politics at two different points during the interview. Joy Behar first wanted the comedian’s take on the border wall, which Sykes called the “dumbest idea ever.” She went on, “What is a wall going to do? Especially now that you have the El Chapo National Tunnel. You build the wall, you’re going to have Mexicans popping up like wack-a-mole.”

It was then pointed out Sykes hosted the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2009, and she was asked her thoughts on Trump not attending this year’s gala. As Gossip Cop reported, he was the first president in decades to skip the event. “I can’t say the word that I want to call him. It begins with a P,” Sykes confessed, the only time she showed restraint.

She continued, “It’s a very soft, very childish move on his part. He can’t take a joke. That’s crazy.” Sykes also noted that the WHCD is “for a good cause,” as the primary purpose is to award scholarships to young journalists, but she argued, “He doesn’t care. He doesn’t give a damn… I don’t really know if he would’ve gotten half of the jokes anyway.”

Behar returned to politics at the end of the interview, asking for her reaction to Republicans passing the American Healthcare Act to replace Obamacare. “It’s awful, and we all know what it is. They’re just trying to erase anything President Obama did. I bet you, they want to act like that man never existed, like it never happened,” Sykes said.

The outspoken star added, “It’s racism. They hate having a black president and they want to get rid of it.” Watch the video below to see Sykes’ full remarks on the subject.
