Vince Neil Cast On New “Celebrity Apprentice” Season?
Vince Neil is reportedly the first celebrity to join the cast of the new “Celebrity Apprentice,” which will feature Arnold Schwarzenegger taking on Donald Trump’s role as the boss. Gossip Cop is seeking confirmation.
Neil is actually no stranger to reality television. He was featured on “Celebrity Wife Swap” just last year, competed on “Skating with the Stars,” and made appearances on show likes “Ghost Adventures.” And with Motley Crue finishing its last tour in December, he apparently has time on his hands for the “Apprentice” gig.
As Gossip Cop reported, it was announced in September that Schwarzenegger would replace Trump. The business mogul parted ways with the NBC franchise a few months prior when he decided to run for president. Trump actually gave the former California governor his blessing, tweeting, “Congrats to my friend @Schwarzenegger who is doing next season’s Celebrity Apprentice. He’ll be great & will raise lots of $ for charity.”
Since then, however, news on the new season has been hard to come by, and Schwarzenegger hasn’t said much. The competition last aired in February 2015, almost a year ago, with Leeza Gibbons crowned as the winner. Over the last few months, though, some former contestants and champions, such as Arsenio Hall, have distanced themselves from the series due to Trump’s controversial campaign, while others, like Omarosa and Jesse James, have stood by him.
NBC previously said the new edition would air during the 2016-2017 TV season, though no premiere date has been announced. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.
