Vin Diesel Sings Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” To Honor Paul Walker (VIDEO)
Vin Diesel posted a video on Facebook of himself singing Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” as a tribute to Paul Walker on Wednesday. The actor captioned the video, “The ever continuing process of healing…All love.” Watch below!
In the clip, Diesel stands in front of a big screen showing footage of himself with his late Fast and the Furious co-star with a big chyron reading “BROTHERHOOD.” The actor performs the emotional song with the images of Walker playing behind him. Interestingly, the track is actually about using drugs to get over a breakup.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Walker died in a car crash in 2013 while on hiatus from filming Furious 7. Diesel took the news particularly hard as the two actors were incredibly close, calling it was one the “darkest moments” in his “journey.” Diesel also named his daughter Pauline as a tribute to the late star.
In addition to his determination to keep Walker’s memory alive, Diesel is also well-known for the random music performances he posts on Facebook. On Valentine’s Day, he sang the Maroon 5 song “My Heart Is Open,” and last year he took on Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” and Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love.” In 2013, he shared a video singing Rihanna’s “Stay.” Watch Diesel singing “Habits” in honor of Walker below, and tell us what you think.
