Busting bad dish!

Did Zach Galifianakis Smoke Pot on “Real Time with Bill Maher”? (VIDEO)

UPDATE

(HBO)

.

.

Zach Galifianakis seemingly smoked weed on Bill Maher‘s TV show on Friday during a discussion of California’s upcoming vote on marijuana legalization.

As the “Real Time” panel debated the merits of Proposition 19, it looked like The Hangover star took things to the next level.

“I have to agree it’s a tricky thing politically to jump on that bandwagon because I think that maybe people see it as taboo still,” said Galifianakis.

He then lit up what appeared to be a joint.

As the crowd roared, the comedian passed the joint to fellow guest Margaret Hoover, who confirmed that it was the real deal.

Now, however, Maher’s rep tells Gossip Cop it wasn’t really pot. “It was a prop,” says the rep.

What do you think?

it was epic…watch, he’s gonna get in trouble now

  • BeReal

They shouldn’t legalize pot. I can see children getting hold of it… even if there would be an age restriction. The US is falling now… pot will make it fall even faster. I can visualize people walking around high. What can you accomplish even being on the job high? The US is trying to destroy themselves to even think of this.

  • MissZee

they won’t legalize it because the government would lose money…but if you think about it…legalizing pot isn’t as harmful as cocaine, heroin, alcohol, etc…name one person you know who has overdosed on pot…i can’t name any…but i will say smoking pot while driving is deadly…it happens…but all you get from smoking pot is getting the munchies

  • BeReal

I don;t know much about it, but I have read that pot leads to stronger drugs. The average person who takes drugs, generally, has a starting on pot. Smoking pot in your home with children around, can cause them to become high from the smoke.

  • MissZee

which is true, its called contact high

  • RalphMunster

I love how BeReal think he/she knows wat theyre talking about lol. The move was epic. And as for Marijuana hurting the US. I dont see it doing as much damage as religion does to this country (racism, intoleration towards gays, killing abortion doctors, etc) or even alcohol. I am a Yale student studying Creative Writing and Marketing. I smoke marijuana every single day, i would at least say 4 times a day. I have straight A’s and marijuana doesnt seem to affect my performances. .” I can visualize people walking around high. What can you accomplish even being on the job high?” The answer to that is you can ccomplish anything. As a matter of fact I am under the influence as i write this comment and am curretly going to jog 6 miles. I dont see it keeping me from my accomplishments or goals. Gateway drug? Urbann Legend. Never have, and never will have the “urge” to do any drug harmful to my body. It saddens me how people like BeReal dont know what theyre talking about yet they feel theyre “voice” is right. Before you throw your two cents in, maybe you should research before you go in a “anti pot” frenzy. Practice intellegence!!!

  • BeReal

Maybe you should practice intelligence, Ralph. I don’t give a hoot where you finished school. The problem is that you think that you know it all because you carry a Yale name. That means nothing. The problem now with the US is that we have a “we know it all” attitude because I am “of this race” and I “went to school at this place and that place”, therefore, “I am superior”. It’s the down fall of America right today. We are losing our moral values and the emphasis is on where I went to school and yah dee dah. All you care about is “what I want at this moment to make me feel good” and not looking at the whole picture and what damages can occur. If pot is legalized, mark my word, see what will happen to the USA. The terrorist won’t have to bomb the USA, we would bomb ourselves. Ralph, all it takes in life is “common sense” and you don’t seem to have it. The emphasis is on “y-o-u” and your selfishness.

  • BeReal

Ralph, the only reason I caused your name is because you called mine. Don’t try to muddle or muffle my views. I have a view just as you do. I called you a name because you “are not” better than I am or anyone else here, even though, you think you are. The problem seems to be that your god is you… so no sense in me even explaining myself to you. There are “many” people that feel the way I do… there are countless, even more than your view and you know it because that is why you got so defensive. Everyone here has a view so no sense in calling names. Show how intelligent you are.

  • BeReal

    I “called” your name (error)
Ralph, you can’t call me on my wording because look at your spelling. I am going to be intelligent and say that it is an error or typos. Now you are a “Yale” student so I guess you are “so” superior that you don’t make mistakes. I have a feeling you work for a tabloid, is Perez Hilton , or a crazy paparazzi – because you know that I know that they are sinister people and I don’t have any positive words for those kind of creatures.

I dont want to gang up on you BeReal but I am the real deal when it comes to marijuana’s effect on one’s success in life. I am not Ivy league educated. I am a college dropout. I could easily blame my brevity of higher learning on an increased use of cannabis during that time but that would be a cop out. The truth is, I never much cared for school and did little to no homework during my high school years. Not a great regimen for a university education. I was born and raised in small town in the MIdwest populated with a 95% German-Catholic citizenry. Alcohol, especially beer, was as common as milk in most households. Consumption was expected and D.U.I.’s were a coming-of-age tradition akin to a bar mitzvah. I’ve never cared for the taste of alcohol so I went in search of an alternative during my post-pubescence. I found marijuana. As a result of it’s legal status, my only option was to make my purchases via the Black Market. The unsavory characters I cavorted with introduced me to cocaine. I struggled with that evil white powder for almost a decade. Ten years clean now, I still use pot on a recreational basis. Much like the person who has a glass of wine after a hard day at work. The true “gateway” is marijuana’s minimal side effects combined with prohibition. Once that line is crossed and marijuana’s illegality is found to be unwarranted, “harder” drugs lose their stigma. During my sordid stint of drug abuse, I observed the effects of a variety of intoxicants on my peers. Heroin, cocaine, prescription medications and alcohol are the true demons of our society and 2 of the 4 are legal. My personal story is fortunate. I manage two retail stores averaging $1.5 mil/yr in revenues and am a self-taught IT Specialist for my retailer’s regional conglomerate…BUT I am the exception. Born with an above average IQ and tagged as gifted in elementary school, I had a distinct advantage to overcome these obstacles. Your average human is more suspectible to a long life of drug addiction and incarceration, once that step over the line to marijuana is made. The line MUST me moved to save the next generation of young people.

  • BeReal

YOU DON’T HAVE CALL ME BY NAME… JUST STATE YOUR OPINION. WE ALL UNDERSTAND THAT PEOPLE WILL HAVE DIFFERENCE OF OPINION. I DON’T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY, I HAVE MY OWN, REGARDLESS. I HAVE SAID HOW I FEEL. THANK YOU.

  • mth4974

WOW! Hostile much? Now I AM on Ralph’s side. I found your argument to be rather ignorant but your responses quite eloquent. Apparently, I gave you too much credit. I was simply trying to expound on Ralph’s sophomoric comments but it’s obvious you have no desire for knowledge. You are happy in your ignorance, much like an infant in a blanket. You know of little else nor do you care. Walking around high? Walking and/or jogging is a not popular activity while inebriated on cannabis. The point is relaxation and the desire for that feeling can be abused as with any intoxicant. Moderation is the key. Contact high? Do you feel the effects of nicotine when standing next to a smoker? High on the job? Is it ever appropriate to be under the effects of alcohol or drugs while at work?….You dont care what I say but I’m supposed to hold my tongue while you bloviate on a subject of which you obviously have no experience or knowledge. Here’s a piece of advice I learned a long time ago: Don’t comment if you want/expect a retort…that and, Grow Up!

  • mth4974

    Excuse me, I meant…Don’t comment if you don’t want/ expect a retort

  • mth4974

And I thought Ralph was going off a tangent but did he call you out as a “true believer” religious type?If so, YOU are the problem with this country. If you want to know why, I’m sure you’ll comment back.

  • mth4974

Many people feel the way you do? What people? Uneducated rednecks? EVERYBODY I know smokes or has in the past. YOU are the minority but your minority view is embellished by lobbyists for the alcohol and drug companies making you THINK other people feel as you do.

  • MissZee

I doubt if weed becomes legal, the US will fall…look with what happen with alcohol…it was illegal then made legal…in time, pot, weed(whatever you wanna call it) will be legal. and honestly, if you don’t want children to get high, then don’t smoke where there are children near you or present with you. simple as that…if i had to choose between a drug, it would be pot…to me, it seems a lot safer than all the other drugs…and if you really think about it, when smoking, you may lose brain cells, but more are being reproduced as we speak….but i will say this about me, i do not smoke or drink…but i won’t tell my friends ‘oh it’s bad for you’, or ‘you’re going to kill America by smoking this’..

all this comes down to is money

  • mth4974

MissZee is HOT! At least her brain is. You will go far in life. Your tolerance for your differences with others is recognized and appreciated.

  • BeReal

Excuse me, who is showing the ignorance.

  • MissZee

    rofl…thanks

  • MissZee

also, if this country goes down…it’s not going to because of weed, it’s going to be by the people of this country…the republicans and democrats are the ones destroying this country by not working together

  • ginnysaurus

Actually, if you think about it, legalizing marijuana could help the U.S.’s economy. The government could put taxes on marijuana, a ton of people would be buying the newly taxed marijuana, which means more money circulating. Of course, there should be restrictions just like with alcohol. You should have to be a certain age to smoke, driving while under the influence should be illegal, but smoking in the privacy of your own home? Who’s that hurting?

  • MissZee

    EXACTLY!!!!
