Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald Singing “Now That I Found You” (VIDEO)

Nikki Reed and her husband Paul McDonald wed last month, debuted their duet “Now That I Found You” on Ryan Seacrest‘s show on Monday, and then sang it during a Barnes & Noble appearance later this week.

Fans captured the couple’s cute moment with cell phone cameras.

In a video interview with Rolling Stone, Reed discusses this new side to her career.

“The only person that inspires what I write about is Paul, so that’s what those lyrics were about,” says the Breaking Dawn actress.

    Nikki has one of the biggest movie openings and is singing at Barnes & Noble ? For promote her husband ? If he is so talented like other AI alum, the fans will come. Didn’t Jennifer Hudson finish 7 or 8 and go on to a wonderful career. It is bizzare that Paul is not encouraging Nikki to use the Twilight opportunity to further her career. Instead he seems using her to further his by making a play for the Twilight fanbase. I feel sorry for Nikki, she deserves better than singing at Barnes and Noble when she does not seem to want to do so except be supportive to Paul.

    I couldn’t even listen to the whole thing…it’s pretty awful and completely generic. They’re singing in a Barnes and Noble book store for a signing of Seventeen magazine? I think that says it all right there.

    Oh please you guys are such haters. At least Paul and Nikki look like they are truly in Love with each other unlike some people. Nikki is at least is upfront and does not let the fame go to her head. By the way Kristen’s dad gave Nikki a hug so you drama queens have no room to talk. You make up something out of nothing that is not. Take a good look at yourselves before you judge this person you don’t even know or the true story about what really went on.

    Nikki is not a lead actress or ever really important when it comes to the financial success of the twilight movies. At this point the movie does not need any more promotion. Her career is doing just fine not sure why you are so concerned about what she is doing. Yes it is a bit corny but at the same time it is very nice to do with someone you love. You really cant comparable him to Jennifer Hudson. Everyone from AI does not have the same career path. Jennifers career is ok. but her albums dont really sell that well and she never really deserved and oscar she is a horrible actress but a great singer.

    it’s comical that people don’t think she’s a famewhore. married purposefully like a day before promotion started so that she could attempt to have someone care. she really couldn’t wait like another couple weeks? same with this stupid song…drops the day of the premiere? come on…she’s so desperate to have people care, it’s pathetic. and if she and pattinson were ever a thing, he definitely traded up now that he’s with kristen. good luck to these two, at least they have each other.

Leave the girl alone she isn’t hurting you, she’s moved on with her life, I would think you little tweens would be happy she isn’t still after Rob. Can’t win with you lot.

    @guest FYI – it comes from the Aesop fable, the Fox and the Grapes. It is an idiom word – means When someone says something critical or negative because they are jealous, it is a case of sour grapes. I said this because she’s bashing all her cast, just read Seventeen magazine.

    Nikki is not a lead actress, but she has name has recognition unlike the wolf pack and the others who come and go in Twilight. She also wrote a screenplay when she was just a teen. Her career is doing just fine ? Not from where I sit. Rob, Kristen,Taylor are signing movies. Ashley is doing TV, fashion and movies. Kellan has a fashion line and movies, Jackson sings and does movies. They may never succeed and become unknown in time, but the they seem to try hard to make use of the Twilight opportunity. Nikki has talked about directing, she wrote a screenplay when she was just a teen. Now she wants to become a rapper and is singing in Barnes and Noble ? She seems to be supporting Paul. What is Paul doing ? Supporting her on the red carpet by posing with her ? Making her sing in Barnes and Noble when she goes to sign a magazine ? As someone who has admired her talent, I do not like how Paul seems to be using her and is trying hard to make use of the Twilight base to sell records. She deserves someone who supports her dreams, not changes hers to suit his.

    yes, i’m jealous of a fledling career that causes me to sign a lame magazine and sing in a bookstore. i’m not knocking her marriage, they may very well be in love and that’s great. the date of the marriage, however, seems a little suspect. the only problem i have with this chick is that she is starving for attention. maybe she should get a life.

    @chymie – Your pretty much nailed it. Your post reminds me of an article I saw on LaineyGossip. Yes, it’s a gossip site but she does a lot of debunking there as well and she seems to get a lot of stuff right. Anyway, she posted something about this back in June.

    Hello, she was Kristen’s friend before the whole Rob situation. She went to say hello to Kristen’s dad, what should he have done? Ignore her? He is a father, he must be above the petty crap.

    yes Nikki is part of a wildly successful franchise but she has always been on the back burner, even Ashley Greene got more recognition than her, hence the decision to sign a lame magazine in a Barnes and noble store. oh and the song is bad, the vocals are bad and nikki is more like the backup singer. I know people are saying this is a publicity stunt but these two are not that famous so I don’t know if they will get a lot of publicity out of it

    It seems like most of you are Twilight fans, fans of Kristen and/or Pattinson, (I am a fan of both) and have followed the stories surrounding the cast from the beginning, re: who dated whom first and when did this happen, and all the other little dirty details. I know I have read it all. Yet, as an older fan, I can look beyond this nitpicking I am reading here and all the gossip that sometimes can border on hilarious, and listen to the song and see it as a sweet love song. I can also say that Nikki’s voice has a nice quality to it, was a nice accompaniment, and that it benefited the song. It was a love song, and I am glad that Nikki has hopefully found lasting happiness with her new husband. I would wish that for anyone. Hopefully they just clicked when they met, and theirs will prove to be a long lasting love. Let’s not encourage the stereotype of women being catty: I come here and read these hurtful comments and shake my head in wonderment. There are many wonderful things about this fandom, and I’m glad I’m part of it, but this hateful part is not admirable.
